RaBert, For me it would depend on the job. I mean if you're talking about something like mowing yards you could go as low as 13-14 as long as they were responsible, same with online marketing or something of that nature. If you get a little more serious, I'd say 16 so they're able to drive themselves where they need to be.

I got a part-time job at McDonald's as soon as I turned the legal age (15 in Australia). Fast food places are great for young teenagers as you learn a lot about money, and responsibility and working as a team.

16 for any occupation that may involve "dangerous" work, which includes fast food, although it also includes places like Bath and Body works. Anything that's hard work is a worthwhile job for a kid to have, so that they learn the value of work and the value of money.

13- 14 because it teaches responsibility and it shows a child that money doesnt grow in trees and it makes them earn their keep, maybe at a parents workplace or babysitting

I think 15 is a good age to start working and become more responsible. You could get a job and micky dees at 14 though too. good luckk!

well you can be 14 for publix 16 for party city at lease 17 for toys R us and over 18 for gamestop/EB games
