How to find a good sales partners for business from india?

My brother is an exporter in India. He exports fruits, onions, cotton, textiles. He is looking to export the items to USA only and has asked me to find a sales partner here. I live in USA, but never done a business here. How can I find a sales partner for him here in USA?

I would recommend checking with American Embassy in New Delhi and see what are the requirements for sending food and merchandise to America. I would also check with United States Department of Commerce and see if they have any regulations on this.
