Asked by Kristina
I'm going away for the summer, to stay with my friend, but I'd like to work as well. Is it possible for me to work there, even if I live in the other state? How would I come by that?

I did it all the time in college. I lived in Oklahoma, went to school in Kansas (where I had jobs), and had summer jobs in California, Missouri, and Iowa. It's not like when you go to another country and need a visa.

If you're a U.S. citizen, you can work anywhere in the USA. It will up to the employer if they wish to hire you for the summer.
