I have my BA in Science of Criminal Justice. I have applied to several jobs and NO luck. I have been w/o a job for 5-6 weeks now... can anyone help me or give me suggestions? Thanks!

I know how you feel. The thing is even when you land a job you may not be happy, because then you have all the work bullshit to deal with. There are co-workers that you have to work with and may not like, etc... Anyways if you live in Canada, you should check out Workopolis and Job Bank Canada. Those are good websites to help you. Monster is another one. Check the newspapers and maybe a career counsellor. I did all these things and landed jobs, although I don't know what good it did since I am not very happy at the company I am at. I guess I am still finding my path. You may find yours easier that me. Does the college you graduated from have an employment office? Mine offers all kinds of help, even after you graduate. They should be able to help with resumes, interview skills, suggestions on where to apply, etc. Mine was super helpful with ideas on what jobs to apply for that my degree qualified me for...things I'd never thought of. Keep your head up, 6 weeks is not long to be out of work in this economy. Call your school and see what they can do for you. Best wishes!
