How can I get through my day doing customer service?

I work for a great company, but i hate customer service! I'm trying to suck it up for 1 year so I can post out, in the meantime what can i do to not take these calls personal and get frustrated? i do customer service for an health insurance company.

Dealing with customers can me miserable, ive done retail sales for 5 years trust me i know. I started reading articles from 1to1media.com on customer relations and applied what ive learned and suddenly it wasn't to bad. If you can learn how to understand the customer needs and wants, you can figure out what they want then you can build a nice experience with the customer when providing a solution.
