How do you make sure you always have healthcare between jobs?

say i work one job that doesnt have healthcare, so im on state healthcare. If i move to a different state, can I keep the state healthcare I have for at least the transition period?

You need to get yourself private insurance until you get your next job. Like HealthNet. Get a basic plan to keep the cost low if your are healthy.
