What do you think of taking a receptionist job at a funeral home?
Asked by any1_4wishing
I'm thinking of applying for a receptionist job at a funeral home, but I'm not sure. It would be a terribly depressing place to work. What do you think? Anyone ever done that?

I don't think I could ever do that, I would just die! lol :) At least it would be quiet there! You could also lie down on the job. They don't care if you have a cold, they are used to the coffin.

I think it depends a lot on your personality, and the funeral home. Of course it could be depressing, but at the same time, the people you deal with would probably often be very appreciative of the service they are getting, so that could make up for it.

Everyone dies. Why is that so depressing? This would be a great job (for the right person). You could really help a lot of people when they are having really sucky days.
