LPN/LVN in Texas, can I bridge to RN in California?

I'm currently a student practional nurse in Texas I don't want to bridge over here in texas because there is only one community college where I live and they are really anal about pre reqs which I am avoiding at all costs since they are a waste of time, I am currently at LPN program kaplan university, and once I graduate I want to move back to California and bridge over to RN, would that be possible or do I have to take the NCLEX-PN and be a Licensed Practional Nurse in california before bridging over to RN? Thanks!

You can bridge after you have passed your PN boards. http://www.rn.ca.gov/applicants/lic-end.shtml If you choose not to take the test in TX before you move, you will be required to take the test here before you can participate in most bridge programs.
