Client Marketing Specialist
immixGroup is seeking a mid-level marketing professional to help our clients grow their government business through proactive lead generation initiatives, awareness campaigns, and sales tool support. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Programs, the Client Marketing Specialist will work with major technology manufacturers (including such companies as IBM, Oracle, EMC, and McAfee) and immixGroup’s internal account teams to plan, create, and deploy value-added marketing programs and tactical sales activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include:
· Planning and executing promotional campaigns to generate registrations for and sales leads from seminars, user groups, trade shows, networking events, Webinars, online marketing initiatives, and telemarketing
· Providing project management for assigned client marketing materials, events, and campaigns
· Proofing, editing, and/or writing marketing copy for e-mails, landing pages, event invitations, telemarketing scripts, event signs, and other online and offline communications
· Creating, testing, sending, and reporting on targeted e-mail blasts
· Working closely with the immixGroup events team, Market Intelligence group, and Web site manager to ensure the success of all assigned client events
· Selecting, compiling, and managing targeted marketing lists
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a personable, proactive self-starter who is detail-oriented and organized, with a proven capability of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Prior experience in lead-generation marketing such as events, Webinars, direct mail, and e-mail is required. The candidate should have strong writing skills and proficiency in proofing and editing.
