  • Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse is primarily responsible for, but is not limited to, the care and accuracy in obtaining vital signs and initial patient history, performing routine nursing procedures i.e., finger stick blood studies, urinalyses, pregnancy tests and venipuncture (when appropriate), triage patients when necessary; ability to work various shifts as required.

    Required Education/Required Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN, AAS, BSN). Licensed or eligibility as LPN in DC. Must have current CPR certification.

    Required Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an ambulatory care setting. Experience working with underserved or homeless populations preferred. * For correctional position-correctional experience- preferred but not required.
